Here’s what’s known about the app so far.
Does it send conversations to cloud AI?
No. Message analysis runs locally on your Mac with an installed model. That is separate from downloading the model or connecting to a supported message source.
Can I download it yet?
A public download and beta date haven’t been announced. You can sign up for release updates.
Which devices and message sources will it support?
The current development app runs on a Mac. Supported sources, system requirements, and installation details will be published with the release.
Can it miss something or get it wrong?
Yes. It can misinterpret language or lack important context. Read the supporting messages and talk with your child. An app can’t guarantee their safety.
Will it disclose my child’s LGBTQIA+ identity?
Preventing that is a fixed product requirement. Identity and questioning must not become concern categories or be exposed through alerts, exports, or other outputs. There will be no setting to turn that protection off.
What will it cost?
Pricing hasn’t been announced.
What happens when I sign up?
ADK Works saves your email address so you can receive BeeOkay updates. You can ask to be removed at any time. We don’t need messages or information about your child.
